Our story
Years on the tools, not a sideline
Stephen has spent around 25 years valeting vehicles. Before he ran his own crew he trained valeting teams at main dealers, Ford and Mercedes-Benz, getting them up to the standard those showrooms expect. He started Valet Centre North West in 2010 and built it on doing the job properly and standing behind it.
Caravans and motorhomes are what we do most, touring caravans, motorhomes and statics, and we clean and repair, so the same team that washes it can sort the skylight seals or a bigger job while we're there. We also do cars, 4x4s and vans, motorbikes, trucks and HGVs, plant and tractors, engines, and the odd boat or light aircraft. Expertise across the lot, not just one thing, so you're not ringing three or four different people.
We're based in Haydock, near St Helens, and cover the North West and into North Wales for caravans. The bigger the job, the further we go. Fleet and commercial work travels, and for aircraft we go wherever the hangar is.

Fully mobile, and set up for it
We bring everything with us
There's no unit you drop the vehicle at. We come to you, at home, at work, on the yard or up at the caravan park, and bring everything the job needs. The vans carry their own power and water tanks, jet wash, vacuums and buffing gear, plus the right products for each surface.
We also carry an inflatable canopy, so we can set up over the vehicle and keep working in most weather rather than waiting for a dry day. A caravan on a pitch or a fleet on a depot gets done on site, with nothing towed or driven anywhere.
Commercial, fleet and caravan-park work
Set up for the bigger jobs
Alongside private work, a lot of what we do is commercial. Van and truck fleets kept presentable on a regular round, contract and lease vehicles prepped for return, and decal and livery removal, including work for national haulage and tanker fleets. We come to the depot or yard and work around your schedule, so vehicles aren't off the road.
The other big one is caravan parks. There are loads of parks along the North Wales coast, and we clean statics and holiday homes right there on the pitch. From a single tourer to a park full of units, it's the same careful job every time.
Cleaning and repairs, from one team
One call, not three or four
The thing people come back for is that we do the clean and the fixes. Spot a gone skylight seal during a caravan valet and we sort it there and then, before it turns into a damp floor. It saves you lining up a separate repairer for every little thing.
The price is always worked out on size, condition and location. There are too many variables to put a fixed figure on a job sight unseen, so you get a fair from price and only pay for what your vehicle actually needs. No surprises on the day.
We're fully insured and carry current health and safety paperwork and risk assessments, which is what a commercial yard or a caravan park asks for before we set foot on site. Stephen also holds paint-protection certificates from his detailing work. And if anyone ever has an issue with anything, we go back and put it right.
