Whether it looks factory-new depends on its age and what's under there, but most owners are surprised how well it scrubs up.
On its own it's usually under an hour, depending on how greasy the bay is and how much of it needs covering up first. Added to a full valet or detail it just slots into the rest of the work, which is how most people have it done. Either way we don't rush it, because the careful prep is the whole point of doing it safely.
